Adult Faith Formation
The LMSNC schedules seminars and classes throughout the year as part of an effort to help our community continue to grow in their understanding of the traditional Catholic faith.
Youth Faith Formation
The LMSNC hosts Catholic clubs and summer camps for boys and girls ages seven through seventeen. Diocesan priests, the Marian Sisters of Santa Rosa and seminarians from our diocese, are invited to collaborate with members of the Society to provide traditional Catholic faith formation for our youth.
Schola Cantorum
The Latin Mass Society of the North Coast (LMSNC) has a talented and dedicated “school of singers” dedicated to providing Gregorian Chant and sacred polyphony for the sacred liturgy. Please enjoy a sample.
Altar Server Guild
Boys and young men ages seven and older are encouraged to serve at the altar. Server trainings are scheduled throughout the year with our Master of Ceremonies and members of the Society.
Women’s Altar Sodality
The sanctuary- its care and beautification- is the focus of the LMSNC Altar Sodality. Members learn about the traditional altar, the proper care of linens, and provide flowers and other necessities for the liturgy.
Special Events
The LMSNC hosts a variety of festive events! Procession and reception for Corpus Christi and Christ the King, an Epiphany Party, a First Solemn High Mass reception, and a Mother’s Day Tea are some of the past events organized by its members. The Society continues to explore ways of bringing the beauty of the traditional Catholic faith to the community.
